Customizing tours for pre-formed groups is our specialty at Landmark Tours & Cruises.
We know the destinations inside and out and we know what appeals to our groups. We
design each tour to suit you and the needs of your customers. This includes upgrading
hotels, adding special attractions and meals, combining destinations and adding (or
subtracting) days.
A good example is our Washington, DC tour. Our basic package includes touring by
day and evening with a step-on guide, but we’ve customized itineraries to include
the Marine Corp dress parade, a full-time escort, private tours of the White House
or Capitol Building, James Madison’s “Montpelier”, a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington,
the Holocaust Museum and combinations with Baltimore and Annapolis. We’ve upgraded
our Penn Dutch tour by adding luncheon at the Hotel Hershey. We’ve extended Mackinac
Island tours with additional nights on the island, in Frankenmuth or Holland, Michigan
during their Tulip Festival. We’ve added cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, shopping
or casino visits as requested to enhance the experience of our group travelers.
We enjoy the challenge of designing the perfect tour for your group. We encourage
you to ask questions and give us your input, because we know that every group is
different. There are many companies out there who will sell you a tour “off the shelf”,
take it or leave it. Often that tour is not what you really want, but it’s easy and
the price may look attractive. Our approach is different. We focus on the needs of
each group, whether it means upgrading to a 4-star hotel, keeping within a specific
budget, providing more “free time” or finding evening entertainment.
At Landmark Tours & Cruises, your pleasure is our business.
